He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Garness and Gladys Garness (Anderson). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Knutson; his daughters, Kenna Starks (Rodney) of Stockton, CA and Krysta Dennis (Bohlen) of Perris, CA; his sister Gail Garness of Dillon, CO; and his nephew Scott Still (Andrea). He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
