Imogene Ellis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Imogene Ellis (Madison, South Dakota), who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sherman and Inga Sherman (Hegdahl); her husband Robert LeRoy Ellis; her sister Dorothy Christianson (Sherman); and her niece Vicki Pederson.
She is survived by: her sister Marlys Silver (Sherman); her nieces, Roxanne and Robin; her nephew Robert; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Zac, Justin, Carl, Alan, Brian, Courtney, Libby and Paula; her close friends, Linda, Pat, Steve and Bonnie; and also, Mac, Cash, Alex, Cameron, Ben, Claire, Jemma, Laci, Vivian, Marilyn and Harry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rustand-Weiland Funeral Chapel (320 Egan Ave N, Madison, SD 57042). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations to celebrate her life be given to the Bethel Lutheran Home Foundation, 1001 South Egan Avenue, Madison, SD 57042.
