She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlando Leighton and Bernice Leighton (Peterson); her husband Bill (Bill); and her siblings, Larry, Don Leighton, Maurine Stonefield, Jean Ingemansen, Beverly Leighton and Ruth Erickson.
She is survived by: her sons, Craig Uthe (Theresa) of Sioux Falls and Keith Uthe (Donna) of Madison; her grandchildren, Jason Uthe, Amanda Massey, Beth Wohnoutka, Kendra O'Brien and Ryley Uthe; and her sister Lavetta Foster of Brookings, SD.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (304 Egan Ave N, Madison, SD 57042). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
