Dar left this world on July 20, 2024 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Algra and Evelyn Algra (VanHoepen); and his brother Douglas. He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Parriott (Dan) of Milbank, SD and Beth Clapp (Rollyn) of Volga, SD; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Chura (Shawn) of Fairbanks, AK, Melissa Sackreiter (Jason) of Milbank, SD, Nathanael Clapp of Volga, SD, Nickolas Clapp of Volga, SD and Hattie Clapp of Volga, SD; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryann, Elah Chura, Dillen, Nollen Sheeley, Cooper and Maddox Sackreiter; his close friend Kelly Raethz of Madison, SD; his children, Kari Booze (James), Chris Raethz (Emily) and Philip Raethz (Nicole); his aunts, Adriana Kleinjan of Volga, SD and Wilma Bjerke (Ron) of Brookings, SD; and his uncle Harold VanHoepen (Carol) of Volga, SD. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
