With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cornelius Grogan Jr. of Madison, South Dakota, born in Sanborn, Iowa, who passed away on May 14, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Malachi Sr. and Anna Marie Grogan (Block); and his siblings, Thomas, John, Lynn Grogan, Kenny Synder, Doris, Margeret Grogan and Phyliss Snyder.
He is survived by: his spouse Pearlene Reinhardt; his siblings, Chis McCandless and Bob Grogan of Colorado; his children, Gary Grogan of DeSmet, Ricky Grogan of Dell Rapids, Roxanne Leighton (Jeff) of Madison, Dawn Grogan of Sioux Falls and Patty DeRaad of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Ryan Hanson (Kate), Lucas Grogan, Lindsay Comes (Eric), Kristin Molitor (Shane), Jesse Olson (Kendall), Cody Leighton (Kristen), Damian Leighton, Kelsey Brue, Lee, Jack Wesche, Jacob DeRaad (Mirrisah), Josh and Jada DeRaad; and also Ilene. He is also survived by seven great-granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter.
