He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence I. Lingle and Harmina Lingle (Zwart); and also, Norman and Ella Lease. He is survived by: his wife Jeanene Lease of Madison; his children, Jeryl Lingle of Madison, April Neiswonger (Keith) of Yerington and Bruce Lingle (Mary Lou) of Madison; and his brother George (Kathy) of Pierre, SD.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ellsworth Funeral Home (321 Egan Ave N, Madison, SD 57042). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (122 Grant Ave N, Madison, SD 57042). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Winfred Cemetery.
