Charles H. Spurgin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles H. Spurgin of Madison, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles H. Spurgin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Spurgin and Myrtle Spurgin (Koepp); his siblings, Shirley Borah and Donald Spurgin; and his great grandchild Laker Felderman.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Christiansen (Steve) and Kevin Spurgin (JoLynn Opdahl); his grandchildren, Christy Leighton (Adam), Chelsey Carper (Cody), Chase Christiansen, Chantel Felderman (Dana), Shannon Dreager (Max) and Tavyn Hallan; his great grandchildren, Breckyn, Brooks, Gradyn, Gracyn Leighton, Kynley, Braxton, Lakyn Felderman, Beau and Brock Dreager; and his siblings, Marilyn Linneman (Dick) and Richard Spurgin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kinzley Funeral Home (604 N Highland Ave, Madison, SD 57042).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated to a charity of the family's choice.
