He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Johnson (Minnaert) and Albin Johnson; his siblings, Bernard Johnson, RoseAnn Frederick, Mary Steinbis, Fran McMahon, Helen Mosher, Jane Rumrill and Barb Lewis; and his son-in-law Steve Gagnon.
He is survived by: his brother Bernie; his wife Jolene Johnson (Lammers); his children, Debra McFadden (Michael) of Kirkland, WA, Paula Gagnon of Portland, OR, Krista Runtz (Joe) of Boise, ID, Ryan Johnson (Tiffanee) of Dell Rapids, SD, Curtis Johnson of Sioux Falls, SD and Aaron Johnson (Kirstin) of Madison, SD; his sister Lorraine Tidblom of Manchaca, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Connor McFadden, Willa, Silas, Ansel Gagnon, Tanner, Nathan Runtz, Abel Johnson, Riley, Ellie Johnson, Anika, Anthony and Leah Johnson.
