She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Olson and Martha Olson (Hemre); her husband Robert Schaaf; her siblings, Orville, Bernard, Arvid, Marvin and Ruth Oftedal; her daughter Susan; and her son-in-law Mike Graves.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Schaaf of Montevideo, MN, Karla Kuipers (Conrad) of Platte, SD and Jan Larson (Jim) of Madison, SD; her grandson Robert Graves (Cayla); her great grandchildren, Talli of Platte, SD, Tressa of Platte, SD and Mica Foxley (Blake); and also, Mychael of Platte, SD, Willa of Platte, SD and Karsen of Platte, SD. She is also survived by three step grandchildren and five step great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to St. John Lutheran Church, 122 N. Grant Ave., Madison, SD 57042.
