He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Delmar, Helen Smith (LaRoche), Clyde and Ramona Estes (Marks); his aunts and uncles, Mark Estes, Troy Estes, Clyde "Duke" Estes, Ruby Estes, Barbara Jean Estes and Cheryl Smith; his cousins, Alexis Smith, Freeman Estes, Victor Grassrope Jr. and Martin Grassrope; his niece Heaven Estes; and his nephew Liam Big Eagle.
He is survived by: his parents, Sherwood Estes Sr. and Annalisa Estes (Smith); his wife Dorri Estes (LaRoche); his sons, Eric Estes and Trevor Estes; his stepdaughters, Nicole Sisneros and Christi Sisneros; and his siblings, Douglas Estes (Gilberta), Sherwood Estes Jr., Wesley Estes (Angie), Angela Frenier (Ron), Dawn Crew VanRossum, Jody Traversie, Kylee Estes (Chris Little), Ursula Estes and Sherilyn Sifuentes (Jason Perez). He is also survived by 16 grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
