She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben DeWitt and Lenora Blackbird DeWitt; and her grandmother Josephine Spotted Hawk. She is survived by: her significant other Gary L. Bingen of Lower Brule, SD.; her children, Lenora Bingen Langdeau (Stuart), Tamara Bingen Fonder (Kim), Kellie Bingen (Bart), Terra Daniel (David), Ralph Bingen, Leroy Bingen (Lizz), Davis Grooms and Truman Grooms (Dawn); her siblings, Lawrence, Tony, Marvin Goodlow, Truman, Charles, Benny DeWitt, Clarence LaRoche, Grace Blacksmith, Beth Grooms, Carol Powers, Darlene Brings Frame and Mary Shields; her grandchildren, Mandy, Keith Fonder, Jaramy Gourneau and Kira Fonder; and her great grandchild Aubry Seaboy.
A procession was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hickey Funeral Home (215 S Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325). A wake was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Comforter Episcopal Church. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
