It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Leon Wynia (Lower Brule, South Dakota), who passed away on December 22, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Wynia and Johanna Wynia (Koster); his daughter Gloria; and his siblings, Grace, Clarence (Boss), Benjamin, Percy (Pete) and Herb.
He is survived by: his spouse Nina Moller; his children, Steven, Ronald, Barbara Gulk (David) of Rapid City, Dorothy Fowler (Duane) of San Marcos, TX, Steve Wynia of Hot Springs, SD, Ron Wynia (Kim Bell) of Rapid City and Dwight Wynia (Brenda) of Hot Springs, SD; his son-in-law Jerry Cahill of Kent, WA; his grandchildren, Jeremy Cahill, Angela Cahill, Michael Gulk, Erin Wynia, Laura Donovan, Curtis Wynia, Kris Wynia, Brian Wynia and Bryce Wynia; and his great grandchildren, Carson Gulk, Austin Donovan, Alicen Donovan and Paisley Wynia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
