He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Sadie Goodface and Daniel Flute; his siblings, Janice, Patricia Flute, Mary Flute, Gene Wilson and Sadie Flute; his granddaughter Malaina Sazue-Flute; his niece Dorri Estes; and his nephew Ellsworth "Sonny Boy" Langdeau.
He is survived by: his wife Patty; his grandparents, Eunice, Henry Goodface, Amiel Pretty Sounding Flute, Annie Tompkins and Pretty Sounding Flute; and his siblings, Delane Flute, Gladys Flute, Emily Flute, Leslie Flute, Hunka and Clark Zephier. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
