It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diana L Maruska of Lower Brule, South Dakota, born in Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on June 8, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Orville C. Langdeau, Sr. and Velma Irene Langdeau (Augustine); her husband Bennett Maruska; her pet Ceasar; her close friend Gwen Jandreau; her cousin Cheryll LaRoche; her friend Benjamin Thompson, Jr.; her daughter Tiauna Obago (Scott); her grandchildren, Starr Traversie, Traci Lundmark, Sammone Thompson (Kyle), Melana, Dayton, Harley, Scottee and Adam; her siblings, Loye Whitcomb (Ron), Orville Langdeau, Jr. (Mark), Darla Langdeau, Joseph Langdeau, Stuart Langdeau (Lenora) and Steve Langdeau, Sr. (Terri); her nieces and nephews, Derek Whitcomb, Liana Fitch (Bill), Mark Whitcomb (Bruni), Chad Whitcomb (Diana), Beth Parker, Steven Langdeau, Jr., Caleb Langdeau (Kiya), Gregory LaRoche, Jr., Royce LaRoche, Ravyn Fonder (Kyle), Ramsey LaRoche and Frederick Laroche Jr.; her godson Jeremiah Laroche (Angie); her aunt Rose McCauley; her nephew Ryan LeCompte; and also, Leo and Cathy Arnold.

She also enjoyed attending the monthly Elderly meetings and was a proud donor to St. Judes Children's Foundation.

Ric Meixell wrote a sympathy message

“To Diana's family and friends, I had the privilege of working with Diana for fourteen years at TEAM Industries. We shared an office area for nearly eight years. She was a lovely person of high character and extreme loyalty to her coworkers. Her maturity in my group was a valued commodity for all of us to lean on when things got hectic. She has been missed by the whole company, especially her impromptu potluck lunches that she loved to organize. Please accept my deepest condolences. Ric Meixell”
