He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Akers and Grace Akers (Nash); his son-in-law Stephen Timroth; his parents-in-law, Peter and Flora Seidel; and his brothers-in-law, Basil Larson and Albert Jonasson.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Seidel; his daughters, Kristina Akers and Deana Timroth; his grandchildren, Jaylen of Lodgepole, SD and Stephanie Timroth of Lodgepole, SD; his brother David Akers (Kathy); and his in-laws, Julie Crockford (Jerry), Jane Larson, Jim Seidel (Sally), Joyce Jonasson, Jerry Seidel (Jennie), Jocelyn Richardson (Roger), Jessie Christie (David), Jeaneane Heinke (Kevin), Jo Renae Begeman (Harlan), Justin Seidel (Tamara), Juell Seidel (Renee) and Jay Seidel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
