It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lisa Katheryn Henderson of Lodgepole, South Dakota, born in Hettinger, North Dakota, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Claude, Geraldine Marion, Ervin and Lu Vern Brettin; her brother Brian Brettin; her cousin Tom Bendel; and her father-in-law Darrell Henderson (Mike Bendel).
She is survived by: her parents, Douglas Brettin and Margaret Brettin (Marion) of Palm Harbor, FL; her husband Wade; her stepsons, Jamie Henderson (Kira) of Lodgepole, SD and Jordan Henderson (Claire Castle); her mother-in-law Jeanne Henderson of Hettinger, ND; her siblings-in-law, Pam Hericks (John) of Eden Prairie, MN, Mike Henderson (Christa) of Sioux Falls, SD and Katie Brettin of Minnetonka, MN; her niece Margo Brettin of Minnetonka, MN; and her grandsons, Paxton and Kellen Henderson of Lodgepole, SD. She is also survived by nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a Memorial will be established by Lisa's family.
