He was predeceased by: his parents, Cliff Nelson and Ellen Nelson (Ohlson); his brother Doug; and his grandson Ryley Peer. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Moody; his children, Rick Nelson (Linda) of Marion, Wendi Peer (Chuck) of Artesian, Sue Severson (Bob) of Garretson and Teresa Wilson (Chuck) of Benson, MN; and his sister-in-law Faye Nelson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
