He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Chance (Ehlers) of Letcher, SD; his daughter Jenny Easton (JD) of Letcher, SD; his grandchildren, Dayton, Evan, Quinn and Cade; his daughter Josey Jenkins; his grandson Paice of Cheyenne, WY; his stepson Tyler Ehlers (Mel) of Aberdeen, MD; his stepgrandchildren, Lukas, Jayden and Westley; his stepdaughter Lynda Stephenson (Ehlers) of Mitchell, SD.; and his siblings, Carla Reed of Liberty Lake, WA, Lois Moe of Carthage, SD, Brenda Newman (Jeff) of Pittsburgh, CA, Dennis Chance and Gary Chance (Peg) of Oakdale, NE. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Denton's name for cancer research.
