It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Vilhauer (Leola, South Dakota), who passed away on February 20, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emil; her daughter Wendy Wright; her parents, Albert Peterson and Marie Peterson; her siblings, Thomas Peterson, Mildred Knuth and Caroline Clark; and her nephews, Garry Clark and Tyler Bricker.
She is survived by: her wife Opal; her children, Rhonda of Tyndall, SD, Constance of Berkeley Springs, WV, Dwight, Dean of Basehor, KS and Jay of Woodinville, WA; her grandchildren, Livia Alexander, William Vilhauer, Lisette Lopez, Laurel Wright, Anna Vilhauer, Fox Vilhauer and Blake Found; her great grandchild Hunter Alexander; and her niece Judy Peterson.
