It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Waltman of Leola, South Dakota, born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jacob, Martha Waltman, Everette Boyle and Loraine Montgomery. He is survived by: his parents, Jack Waltman and Connie Waltman (Boyle); his former wife Jolene Zenker; his wife Diane Hoffman (Yost); his children, Matthew Waltman (Sondra), Mitchell Waltman (Kacy), Tyler Hoffman (Alisha Haddock) and Morgan Hoffman (Kyler Johnson); his grandchildren, Mikayla Waltman and Lincoln Waltman; his brother Jeff Waltman (Michele); and his parents-in-law, Jeanette and Darrel Yost. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Leola Golf Association.
