He was predeceased by: his parents, Christoph Schock and Christina Schock (Hoffman); his wife Norma Guthmiller; his brother LeRoy Schock; his granddaughter Amber Schock; his great grandchild Logan Dean Cox; and also, Julius and Hilda Guthmiller.
He is survived by: his children, Dean Schock (Ina) of Leola and Judy Weiszhaar (Wade) of Leola; his grandsons, Mark Schock (Rachel) of Aberdeen, SD, Chad Weiszhaar (Tiffany), Teagan, Tucker of Leola, Brady Weiszhaar (Katie) of Leola and Jeremy Cox of Leola; his great grandchild Hailie Schock of Vermillion, SD; his siblings-in-law, Eileen Schock of Leola and Steve Guthmiller (Judy) of Mesa, AZ; his niece Tracy Becker (Andy) of Rochester, MN; and his nephew Troy Guthmiller of Minneapolis, MN..
