It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Slaght of Lennox, South Dakota, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Smith and Albertina Smith (Reider); her husband Roy Irven Slaght; her son Irven; and her siblings, Duard Smith, Howard Smith, Leslie Smith, Violet Kundert and Marie Baumgartner.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie "Butch" Slaght (Charlene Schmadeke), Sharon Reicks (Greg Buhrman), Juniata and Donna Fuerstenberg (Don Dunham III); and her grandchildren, Jarrod Slaght, Mandy Slaght and Erica Brooks (Brent). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends.
