She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Ness and Rose Ness (Christiansen); her son David; and her siblings, Merlin, Omar, Lloyd, Vernon, Dale, Howard, Carl Jr., Arnold, John, Marlo, Mildred Frances, Ardis Lamis, Mildred Rose Ribardo and Shirley.
She is survived by: her spouse Verlyn Hofer; her children, Douglas (Carolyn) of Pierre, William (Holly) of Sioux Falls and Rebecca Wensink (David) of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Laurie Yeager (Derrick), Jon Hofer (Michelle), Rachel Brice, Jordan Hofer (Keeyane), Tommy Hofer (Kia), Jaime Lobban (Marlon), Mitchell Hofer (Anne), Michael Hofer, Mariah Weber (Adam), Zach Wensink (Rachel), Sam Wensink (Sarah), Emily Gabrielse (Jonathan) and Josh Wensink; and her daughter-in-law Rhonda Hofer Arens of Crofton, NE. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred directed to Union Gospel Mission or First English Lutheran Church, Lennox or Lennox Area Community Fund.
