Mary Gorrell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2022, at the age of 89, Mary Gorrell (Lennox, South Dakota), born in Marshall, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Hirmer and Cora Hirmer (Lens); her husband Wallace Russell Gorrell; her son Nick; her grandson Nick Jr.; her brothers, Bernard Hirmer, Robert Hirmer, Leonard Hirmer and John Hirmer; and her stepsiblings, Frances Weldon, Phillip Hirmer and Alfred Hirmer.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Gorrell (Lori Tyler), Marilyn Coulter, Russell Gorrell (Carrie), Virginia, Tony Gorrell and Patti Peterson (Jon); and her siblings, Dorothy Smith of Spokane, WA, Cornelia DeCock (Jim) of Minneota, MN, Monica Hoof of Marshall, MN, Catherine Louwagie of Marshall, MN, Doug McNeely (Gigi) and Minneapolis. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Mary's request was memorials to the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Crucifix Fund.
