She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Russ Reed; and her niece Elizabeth Reed. She is survived by: her parents, William Berg and Betty Berg (Rodewald); her former husband Steven Hoogestraat; her husband Steve; her sons, Kyle Hoogestraat of Lennox and Justin Hoogestraat of Lennox; and her sister Sheryl Reed of Mankato, MN. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may directed to the Lennox Municipal Band.
