He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Nobel of Lennox, SD; his children, Sherwyn and Marj Ver Hey of Worthing, SD; his grandchildren, Jared, Danielle Ver Hey, Cory and Stephanie Ver Hey; his children, Loren Ver Hey and Darla Bartels of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Elissa and Randy Keel; his children, Jesse, Cassie Ver Hey, Sherryl and Doug Plooster of Harrison, SD; and his grandchildren, Sonia Plooster, Dan Schuetz, Stacey, Ben Temple, Dustin, Michela Plooster, Adam Major, Shannon, Jody Ver Hey of Sioux Falls, SD, Blayne Ver Hey and Brennan Ver Hey.
His last years battling Parkinson's were not easy for him but he never lost his sense of humor.
