With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Steever of Lennox, South Dakota, who passed away on July 15, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Steever and Minnie Steever (Naatjes); his wife Carol Cleveland; and his brothers, Verlyn and Donald.

He is survived by: his children, Joe Steever (Regina), Gregg Steever (Mary), Daniel Steever and Angela Nussbaum (Keith); and his siblings, Calvin Steever of Santa Rosa, CA, Vonnie Larson (Arlo) and Mesa. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
