He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Buse and Elvina Buse (Goeman); his parents-in-law, Calvin and Geraldine Hanssen; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Hanssen and Phil Crider.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Hanssen of Lennox, SD; his children, Aaron Buse (Bethany) of San Antonio, TX, April Buse of Sioux Falls, SD, Ashley Sperlich (Dustin) of Lennox, SD and Alex Buse of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Carol Woltjer (Bob) of Crooks, SD, Duane Buse of Marion, SD and Dennis Buse (Kayln) of Bridgewater, SD; his in-laws, Sharon Crider of Sioux Falls, SD, Joyce Olson (Bruce) of Lennox, SD, Ron Hanssen (Deb) of Lennox, SD and Rich Hanssen of Bridgewater, SD; and his grandchildren, Jaylen Sperlich, Beckley Sperlich, Hudson Buse and Tayten Sperlich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
