He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Rops and Anna Rops (Vietor); and his parents-in-law, Harold and Doris Jibben. He is survived by: his wife Judy Jibben; his sons, Steve, Ben, Steven (Heidi) of Ruthton, MN, Thomas of Luverne, MN and Benjamin of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Justin, Charles, William, Trenton, Jayson and Maria; and his siblings, Elda Gall, Charlene Haan (Jeff) of Davis, SD, James Jibben (Jane) of Lennox and Carol Heim (James) of Spooner, WI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews other relatives, and a host of friends.
