He was predeceased by: his parents, John Klein and Rose Klein (Kessler); his sisters, Elsie Klein, Wilma Gunderson and Irene Purden (Klukas); and his nephew Leroy Klukas.
He is survived by: his nephew Howard Gunderson; and his nieces, Mardella Smith (Klukas), Loretta Schmidt (Gunderson) and Darlene Wolf (Gunderson). He is also survived by four great-nephews, four great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Five Counties Nursing Home in Lemmon, SD.
