With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Wallum of Lemmon, South Dakota, who passed away on September 8, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Duane Wallum; his sister Carol Bertch; and his parents-in-law, Fanchon and Merle Lien. He is survived by: his mother Arlene Wallum; his wife Glynis Lien of Lemmon, SD; his children, Jason Wallum (Cheyenne) and Jasmine Wallum; his grandchildren, Keira, Zoey Krebs and Urija; his sister Diane Porter; his siblings-in-law, Randy and Rachelle Lien; his niece Desirae Zaste; and his nephew Jeremia Lien.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Worship Center (805 10th St W, Lemmon, SD 57638).
