He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Melvin and Bessie Mae Haugen (Houfstatter); and his son Austin Haugen. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Rebecca, Kristina, Zachary and Daytona Haugen; his great grandchildren, Sage, Daisy, Rye, Oak Sabin and Aiden Haugen; his wife Loretta Jane Warne; his daughters, Nancy Dawn (Ridge Baumeister) and Nadine Hope (Doug Glur); his grandchildren, Ashley Sabin (Walker) and Hunter Glur (Katelynn); and his brother Edward Haugen of Sturgis, SD.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
