He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Dale and Alice Dale (Chastain); his brother Byron Dale; and also, Josh and Mary Hofer.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Hofer of Onida, SD.; his sons, Bill Dale (Jackie) of Timber Lake, SD and Shannon Dale (Erin) of Mobridge, SD; his grandchildren, Jesse Dale (LaNay) of Timber Lake, SD and Tucker Dale (Sadie); his great grandchild Jameson of Trail City, SD.; and his sister Lorna May (Jim).
