He is survived by: his aunt Alice; his wife Elizabeth "Tottie" Morris Strongheart; his children, Ted Lopez of Bullhead, SD, Luke Lopez (Dianna) of Mobridge, SD, Dave Lopez of McIntosh, SD, Matt Lopez of Meadow, SD, Joe Lopez (Tera) of Wessington Springs, SD, John Lopez of Lemmon, SD, Lisa Schmidt (Stuart) of Keldron, SD, Noelle Benson (Randy) of Morristown, SD and Anne Roghair (Brice) of Isabel, SD; his sister Annabelle Mortenson (Sam) of Little Eagle, SD; his siblings-in-law, Geno Hunt of Eagle Butte, SD and Lucille Kaiser Reid of Bemidji, MN; and his grandchildren, Teddy Strongheart, Tottie Hotchkiss, Chuck Schmidt, Kaitlyn Duncan, Whitney Olson, Rowdy Benson, Savanna, Maria, Kate, Rope Roghair, Sarah, Sophia, Tristan, Jessica, Alexis, Joseph, Evan, Ruthie, Cheri, Elijah, Trusty, Daniel and Quest. He is also survived by 19 great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
