It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iona L. Baumeister of Lemmon, South Dakota, born in Esmond, North Dakota, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Haley and Geneva Haley; her husband Gene Baumeister (Lemmon); her grandson Cassidy Baumeister; her great grandchild Morgan; and her siblings, Bernice, Bonnie, Rosemary, Kay, Larry and Jack.

She is survived by: her children, Rene Baumeister, Ridge Baumeister (Nancy), Ross Baumeister, Royce Baumeister (Sandy), Rik Baumesiter (Rhonda), Ryan Baumeister (Ashli), Ruth Holzer (Nick) and Rae Bless (Hal); her sister Millie Roland (Ron); and her sister-in-law Lorraine Moser. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
