He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ellison and Ora Ellison (Dokken); his parents-in-law, William Miller and Rachel Miller Stelter; his brothers, Mitchel, Darrel and Larry; his sisters-in-law, LeNae Ellison and Toots Ellison; and his son Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Lila Jean Miller of Morristown; his son Douglas (Mary) of Medora, ND; his grandchildren, Jon Knapp (McKinzie) of West Fargo, ND and Ashley Ellison; his great grandchildren, Andrew Knapp and Aubrie Knapp of West Fargo, ND; and his sisters-in-law, Edna Ellison of Lemmon, SD and Connie Ellison of Dickinson, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
