He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ulrich and Laura Ulrich (Bakewell); his sisters, Rita, Dorothy and Grace (Chamness); his granddaughter Hillary Joy Gustafson; and his brothers, Earl Chamness, Johnny (Betty Hostetter), Orville (Jane Hauser), Bob (Nita Rogers) and Virgil Woodard.
He is survived by: his sons, Leonard (Louise) and Robert (Amy); his wife Doris (Woodard); and his daughter Colleen Gustafson. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Faith Volunteer Fire Department or St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Faith, SD.
