He was predeceased by: his parents, Vino Paananen and Florence Paananen (Babe); his son Todd Paananen; and his granddaughter Kamryn Schumacher. He is survived by: his wife LeeAnn Paananen; his siblings, Zale Doering (Ron) of Florence, KY and Doug Paananen of Spearfish, SD; and his stepsons, Darrick Schumacher of Spearfish, SD and Dustin Schumacher (Kristy) of Lead, SD. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
