It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Sue Bernards of Lead, South Dakota, born in Abilene, Kansas, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Bernhardt and Illa Bernhardt (Roehrer); and her brothers, Marvin Bernhardt and Jim Bernhardt. She is survived by: her husband Roger; her children, Travis Rickman, Amanda Rickman and Jake Bernards (Allie); her sisters, Karen Reiner (Peggy) and Pat Hagen; her uncle Terry Schmidt; her cousins, Angela Pennington and Buck Reiner; her grandchildren, Analeigh and Coen Bernards; and her son Nathan Rickman. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
