It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Lux of Lead, South Dakota, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Merkel and Katherina Merkel (George); her husband Adolph Lux; her son Harley; and her siblings, Irene Dewald Haro, Lilly Reuther, Loretta Riester and Enoch.
She is survived by: her son Mark Lux (Theresa) of Rapid City; her daughter-in-law Deb Lux of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Haley Kingery (Keegan), Garret Lux (Brooklyn), Daric Myers (Trista), Angelleah Darrington (Austin), Julieanna Ekeren (Justin) and Mykellee Lux; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Isabella, Aaliyah, Kysen, Lane, Harleigh, Liam, Jhett and Fellynne. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
