She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pederson and Clara Pederson (Olson); her husband Harley Austad; her siblings, Gerald, Ralph and Beverly Johnson; and her daughter-in-law Joy Austad.
She is survived by: her children, Verdon Austad, Eugene Austad (Janice), Mike Austad (Judy) and Janet Jones (Duane). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
