Leola Jensen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leola Jensen (Lake Preston, South Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton Jensen; her siblings, LaVern Vostad (Betty), LeRoy Vostad (Kay), Lorraine Potter (Ray), Luella Miller (Kenny) and Arlyn; and her sister-in-law Iylla Jensen.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Cowles of Bartow, FL and Verne Jensen (Jayne) of Erwin, SD; her granddaughters, Laura Wilson (Robbie), Sarah Dammen (Matt) and Maria Hone (Steve); and her great grandchildren, Trever (Katie), Dexter (Torri), Peter and Andrew.
Susie will be remembered for her many contributions to the Lake Preston Museum and her membership in community organizations such as American Legion Auxiliary and the Church Ladies quilting group.
