She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Nygaard and Esther Nygaard (Aspen); her siblings, Donald II, Loren and Janice; and her brothers-in-law, Gerald McGarvie and Merle McGarvie.

She is survived by: her husband Ronnie; her siblings, Sheryl Elfrink and David Nygaard; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Bergheim and Virginia McGarvie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
