He is survived by: his former wife Joanne Hesby; his wife Arlene Keiser; his children, Tony Nelson (Paula) of Vermillion, SD, Richard Nelson of Tucson, AZ, Kurt Nelson (Jodi) of Sinai, SD, Anita Nelson (Brian Detmers) of Brookings, SD and Carol Maycroft (Paul) of Ada, MI.; his stepchildren, Carla Jakeway (Dale) of Rapid City, SD, Caryn Isaacson of Watertown, SD, Roger Keiser (Val) of Marana, AZ and Roy Keiser (Kathy) of Arlington, SD.; and his grandchildren, Adam Nelson (Anna Carlson), Kayla Warren (Blake), Joshua Nelson, Breanne Brezina (Tim), Jordan Nelson, Alexis, Makenzie Thuringer, Frances Becker (Jared) and Catherine Maycroft.
