Norman Butt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norman Butt of Lake Norden, South Dakota, born in Presho, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2024 at the age of 89. In the vast expanse of eternity, Norman shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Norman farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Dale and Lillie Sophie Butt (Monson); and his brothers, Robert and Richard (Mary Whipple). He is survived by: his sister Nona Kay Olson (Duane) of Platte; and his sisters-in-law, Iola Butt of Rapid City, Charlene Nies of Winner, Tootie Bailey (Earl) of Presho and Deanna Sundall (Herb) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Angels Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Norm would encourage you to take a walk around town for some exercise and to enjoy the beauty of nature.
