He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Koisti and Hulda Koisti (Berg); his son Greg; and his siblings, Dale, Ernest, Mavis, Dorothy, Gloria, Anita and Marcene.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Koisti of Lake Norden, SD; and his children, Kerry Koisti (Lori) of Geneseo, IL, Brent Koisti (Amy) of Lake Norden, SD, Tim Koisti (Alyssa) of Lake Poinsett, SD, Dawn Johnson (Mike) of Madison, SD and Shelly Biays (Paul) of Derby, KS. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
