He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert "Bob" and Elizabeth "Betty" Hanson (Axness); his sister Debbie Schulz; and his sister-in-law Jan Hanson. He is survived by: his close friend Lynneta Fisher of Sisseton; his children, Brett Hanson (Kelly) of Sisseton, Heather Bainbridge (Shawn) of Wheaton, MN, Troy (Maggie Steiner) of Sisseton and Sam Hanson of Sisseton; his grandchildren, Colter, Andra, Bryson Hanson of Sisseton, Drew, Dylan Bainbridge of Sioux Falls, SD, Mikayla Hanson of Sioux Falls, SD, Oakley and Hank Hanson of Sisseton; his brothers, Jim Hanson of Sturgis, SD and Bobby Hanson (Becky) of Sisseton; and his brother-in-law Virgil Schulz (Sharon) of Rapid City, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
