It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Regina Wegleitner Knebel of Lake City, South Dakota, who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Southmayd and Emma Southmayd (Stepina); her former husband John Paul Wegleitner; her husband Larry Knebel; her sons, Alan Wegleitner (Lisa) of Prosper, TX, David "Butch" Wegleitner (Shannon) of Lake City, Dan Wegleitner (Catherine) of Lake City and Larry Wegleitner (Linda) of Huron; her grandchildren, Melissa, Elizabeth, Jacob, Eric, Katie, Carrie, Steven and Emily; her great grandchildren, Abby and Brooklyn; her sisters, Grace Wegleitner (Stan) of Britton and Dell Peters (Terry) of Britton; her sister-in-law Patty Southmayd of Blaine, MN; her brother Bruce Southmayd; and her granddaughter Ashley. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that face masks be worn by anyone attending the service.
