He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Janisch and Cecilia Janisch (Tscherne); his wife Georgia Janisch (Gollnick) of Lily, SD.; his siblings, Norbert Janisch (Val), Clarence Janisch (Anna), Wilfred Janisch (Helen), Verlyn Janisch (Emma), Hilary Janisch (Marjorie), Ursilla Stoltz (Philip), Jalois Klein (Richard) and JoAnn Michlitsch; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Field and Art Fischer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Mentele (Eric) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jill Johnson (Eric) of Shakopee, MN and Kim Janisch of Prior Lake, MN; his grandchildren, Ethan and Ellie Mentele of Sioux Falls; his stepgrandson Jesse Johnson (Ekaterin) of Reno, NV; his sisters, Delphine Field and Norma "Jane" Fischer; and his brother-in-law Lyle Michlitsch of Langford, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
