He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charity Wood and Kiyukan; his daughters, Angel Thompson, Vanessa Medicine Horn and Sophia Rouse; and his siblings, Lawrence Kiyukan Sr., Terry Provost, Andy Wood Jr., Percy Dion and Diane Stone (Houseman). He was also cherished by His daughters blessed him with 13 grandchildren and he enjoyed being a Grandpa.

Harold Vernon Provost was born to Charity (Kiyukan) Wood on October 11, 1958 in Wagner, South Dakota.
